About Us
Premier Fish and Reef was created to Change the aquarium industry in Colorado. Using a combined 50 years of experience in aquatics to revitalize interest in freshwater and marine animal husbandry. As hobbyists and professional aquarist we have identified goals we feel have not been consistently met in our region.
Our top priority is the health of the livestock. We have taken great measures to insure our customers will receive healthy fish and invertebrates. Our freshwater tanks are all on individual filters, new fish are isolated and if sick – medicated. We do not sell freshwater fish the first week in our store. We have a 7 day garuantee pending water test and necropsy results.
Our saltwater fish are quarantined for a minimum of two weeks. All of our saltwater QT tanks are on individual filters. We necropsy saltwater fish and medicate based on microscopic findings. Our main floor has 200(+) gallon systems. All utilize skimmers and UV sterilization. When you view the saltwater fish you will see the difference.
